QUESTION - since I've been posting all these conglomerations - does anyone out there actually go visit other Authors' posts? The original concept was that IF my comments to another Author were interesting enough, it might prompt others to go read them. If the answer is NO - or I receive no answer to this question - should I stop posting all this CRAP under various and sundry titles? The Tick is Clocking! ... For 3+ years now, in order to survive RETIREMENT = LOSS OF EARNED INCOME - I work 3 days/week, delivering MEDS to sick people - mostly SENIORS, mostly 65 - 85 + ... and, with the passage of time, suddenly, I don't have anything for that poor old codger anymore - WHY? HE - SHE IS DEAD! Death is the ultimate TRUTH - the ultimate FINALITY - the END OF THE ROAD! Diabetes Testers, Diabetic Insulin and/or pills and Diabetic socks, wheel-chairs, crutches, canes, walkers, pain meds, heart pills, HBP pills, eye drops, nose drops, laxatives, suppositories, DEPENDS, ENSURE, cough drops, cough medicines, vitamins, supplements, and on, and on, and on, ad infinitum ... It is truly RARE - if anyone actually gets BETTER! Not unlike cattle, FATTENED FOR THE KILL - (yeah, Steroids too!) - those glassy-eyed, over-medicated, hopeless, and many, many sufferers of Dementia - just STARE INTO SPACE - Totally oblivious to their environment, surroundings - and for some - even their NAMES, SPACE, OR TIME! HOMES - no, not the acronym for The Great Lakes - but, for Senior Citizens, as they are called ... Senior Communities, Assisted Living, Renovated High-Rises, Miniscule Apartments for the Poor (some just a single ROOM) - OH Yeah - the 'Well-To-Do' which are few and far between live in beautiful sumptuous Condominiums - at least until that FINAL HOSPITAL STAY - when the family finances finally run out - and it ALWAYS DOES - then, they are hustled into, and DUMPED - at one of the aforementioned - HOMES! Way back in the late '70's, when I was selling Life, Health, and Disability Insurance, the Average American was Statistically THREE TO SIX MONTHS' AWAY FROM BANKRUPTCY! Today, my guess is only 1-2 MONTHS! NOTE TO: THE ADMINISTRATION, CONGRESS, GOVERNORS, MAYORS, ALL OTHER 'ELECTED' OR 'APPOINTED' OFFICIALS, CORPORATE CEO's, PHARMACEUTICAL MFRS., AND ALL THE 'WARMONGERS' OUT THERE ... 1. YOU HAVE BEEN 'SCREWING' ALL OUR PATRIOTIC VETERANS FOR DECADES ... 2. DITTO - ON ALL US 'SENIORS' ... AND NOW, AFTER GIVING YOURSELF 'COST-OF-LIVING RAISES' - HAVE THE AUDACITY TO TELL US, IN PRINT, THAT OUR SSA BENEFITS ARE BEING 'FROZEN' FOR 2 YEARS, BECAUSE THERE WAS NO COST-OF-LIVING' INCREASE!
