A few pages that I still have with me from Chicago... Someone may still remember me in Chicago...
1. flyer from Chicago home-run business; I almost got myself registered, then suddenly I lost everything;
2. one page from a parody of Tagore; I read in Chicago;
3. One of my letter-heads;
4. one page from the old manuscript on George Bush..
I did not mean to become homeless. When I realized that I won't be able to pay the rent, I donated some books, CD's and music system etc. to a Church. Then I neatly packed everything and was about to transfer to a friend's house. But I was too late --- I lost everything as the Sherriff already had thrown away my stuff (it was not his fault).
I was sick for exactly one day. Then I got used to Pacific Garden Mission and Father Jim.
What shall I do with my degree from Chicago? I can wait till I am seventy. I shall sleep till then.
I wanted a salaried job, and a part-time home-run business for research and publishing. But I could not get the salary, so I had to live with no pay.
Looking back, I did better what I intended to do. I shall do it even better the next time.
