Just a thought on aging

Inpending Old Age

You know you're getting old
when your mind has
more get-up-and go
then your body

It is getting harder
to get out of bed
and face the day ahead

Every chore seems bigger
then it oughta

You find it hard to believe
the grandchildren
are adults and have
children of their own

You like to stay home
rather than going out

Nothing taste as good
as when mother
use to make it

You are living more
on medicine than
on food

You don't need a
companion
you'd rather
go it alone

You think more of
Heaven being a
beautiful place

You have more
aches and pains
then ever before

And what doesn't hurt
doesn't work
