Grandparents and grandchildren seem to have a natural affinity for each other. Some people say that the reason for this is that they share a common enemy.

Can a child present an unbiased view of his or her parents? This is my attempt.

Ger, I can hardly believe that I read this back after you first wrote it; I certainly did not recall that it was so extensive and complete. A masterful job! I'm going to send copies to each of my kids; although they never knew Mom & Dad all that well, I think they will appreciate their story nonetheless.
