My Cabin
My Canbin in the woods isnt anything that anyone else would find extrodinary. Its surrounded by tress complete with a babbling brook that runs through it. A small bridege sits just off my back porch. Its a beautiful place to sit in the morning while i drink my coffee. Occasionally I see a bass or two swim by while the birds sing in the tree tops. Its peace and serenity and everything else wrapped up into one very neat little package. No phone, no computers, no noise. Ah until everyone wakes up, then the noise begins with good mornings and hugs and breakfast frying in the pan. Coffee gurling in the maker on the counter while bathrobe clad people come in and start conversations that will last the day. I sit at the table and look around at them and smile. Friends are like the best gift ever given. We cherish them and they flurish through out our lives. We nurture them on a daily bases and keep them strong. I am fortunate to have this place and to be in this time with all of them. Have a happy fourth of july folks and dont forget your friends.

From one cabin dweller to another...
HI!
I thought I'd let you know that I also live in a cabin in the woods and I love it also...I live here alone, so most times I have that peace and serenity all the time!
Hope you had a good holiday...Enjoy! |
