I posted this at the CTI website and the "widget" for my CD at PayPlay worked wonderfully. Here at AD? So far I haven't had one work. It's a great thing similar to the Amazon Book ads where you can click and instantly get a pop-up to my PayPlay CD page and download a free track and test more. Also not everybody has iTunes software or wants it.
Payplay Downloads are only .88 a track
Cheaper than iTunes and you can read my Bio info. Afterall I'm pretty unknown and that hurts in the music business.

Well did my "widget" work? Most of you here know what a widget is, but I was surprised not everybody. My sister works every day with computers at work but didn't know what a widget was.
I hope this thing posts at CTI, I've tried these things at AD (AuthorsDen.com for the few writers who aren't registerd there) and they never work for me there.
<b>PAYPLAY</b> or is it <b>PayPlay?</b> <i>Anyway that's where this "widget" will take you. To my CD page where you can get one track FREE and download others for .88 cents instead of iTunes .99</i>
<b>iTunes</b> is probably better to me, but a lot of people don't have or want Apple's software (it's pretty big in terms of megabytes)
So here is a WEB page that uses standard browsers where you can check out my:
<i><b>"LITTLE FISH IN A BIG DIGITAL SEA"</b></i> - Well, I guess that's a first step to get my CDs (my fish) out into the "Digital Stream" Nobody can "catch them" if you don't.
Which leads me to remind anyone interested that although I am spending a lot of time (with my slow connection out here in the sticks of Florida) on the internet, the main GAME PLAN is this:
I have 2 more CDs planned to release this way, then I hope to go further but will not be able to record like this anymore. Tentatively I will sell my house in Florida and may move to California by 2010. All so that I may play in a jazz club where there will be wealthy people who not only appreciate it but can tip handsomely. You just can't even play out if your broke. It doesn't work in today's world. Not to mention, no real clubs around here.
On July 19-20 I completed by last full recording session at a small studio in Ocala city in Florida for some new piano music that will be included on an UPDATE of my <b>2005 CD: IN MEMORY ONLY.</b>
Hopefully this will be put through the publishing system by September.
I'll announce it of course. Luckily the bulk of this music has already been recorded. but I was happy that the recent session fulfilled a strange long-standing tradition I've had of recording in JULY:
Last year on those very dates I recorded my "SEABREEZE piano solos" that are on AUGUST OCEAN OVERTURE. That was my last pro session until now. I do good in April and July for some reason.
This new piano piece is called:
<b>"My Sea of Bbminor Blues"</b> I had over a half dozen takes on this theme and several good for publishing.
I also did a 7' minute improvisation with piano/synthesizer on a tune I wrote in an "old Appalachian Mountain music" style called: "The Old Apple Tree" I'm not sure I can fit it on the CD, we'll see.
Sure is a pastoral and restive sound....
I'll keep you posted: "from the wilds of Florida" - michael guy

| Well, your widget didn't work from here. But I'm excited about your news. I love piano-- oh, how I love it. I know I'm going to love your improv as well, so I do hope it gets included on the cd. Just keep me posted, so I can be one of the first to order it. :) --Charlie |
