Mother Nature's view and advise on global warming.

To Whom It May Concern (which is everyone):

Please realize that the gifts I grant are not for humans alone.  They are for all life on this planet Earth that I take such profound care of.  Do not be so arrogant as to think that your overuse and abuse of my kindness, global warming I believe you call it, will destroy me.  It may destroy you and, sadly, take some other species along, but you will not destroy me.  Over time I can recover from the use of weapons just like I would an asteroid strike.  Global warming I can end if you don’t.  I have always had plans in place.  Hurricanes and weather anomalies are not caused by my anger.  These forces of “nature” are acts of my devotion to keeping water fresh, air breathable, and the temperature livable for all my creatures.  Life will go on, maybe not all life, but life none the less.  I do not plan to let our planet die before its time ... unless we get in the way of an intragalactic bypass.

Douglas Adams, you wit is direly missed and desperately needed!

Respectfully yours as you are all respectfully mine,

Mother Nature
