A short review of the horror anthology Tales from the Darkside's Christmas Special Seasons of Belief featuring the Grither
As the episode begins we are shown a cozy sitting room cheerfully decorated for Christmas complete with stockings hung by the fireplace and a toy train circling the tree.
The family is in the next room finishing their Christmas Eve meal and right away it seems something is not quite right with the parents. The husband (E.G. Marshall) is clearly much older than his wife and yet she manages to appear both dowdy and somber while he has an impish air that contributes to the uneasy feeling of the scene.
