My mind is inside this pen
I hold so tightly
sqeezing out my thoughts
onto the page
scratching my emotions
so hard that the paper rips

The ink is blue
until it comes out
the air turning it red
staining my words
confusing my meaning
I sit and watch it drip

My pen empties its life
across the page
in a struggle to create
but it flows too fast
it's pouring out
it's ending the script

That's some ink pen you've got there, Joe. I can hear it scratching across the parchment.

... this end ... for you: catharsis; for me: epiphany; for us: transference. every ending is really a new beginning.

Putting this poem in the "Article" category was accidental. Leaving it there was deliberate.

Hi Joe you hide in strange ways...;-) I thought I was going to read one of your dreams, or an article laced with your usual truisms, sarcasms, and other isms...;-) was glad to see your comment which told me you were still with us...hope to see more of you...

You just give me one more reason to keep typing on computers, although I suspect this article is connected with other thoughts that I feel are very powerful. Good write.
