My mind is inside this pen
I hold so tightly
sqeezing out my thoughts
onto the page
scratching my emotions
so hard that the paper rips

The ink is blue
until it comes out
the air turning it red
staining my words
confusing my meaning
I sit and watch it drip

My pen empties its life
across the page
in a struggle to create
but it flows too fast
it's pouring out
it's ending the script
.
