Haitian-made Christmas cards Shipped directly to your door. Act fast.

Haiti's had a pretty tough year to say the least!  Here's a safe, trust-worthy way to help out, and get something beautiful in return:  Buy poetry-embellished, Haitian-made Christmas cards for your friends and family this year.

A group of us poets have united to write for charitable causes.  Our goal:  to "dip our Turkey feathered pens into Indian ink... and draw in a new equater... to link the world with poetry."

As last year, we have dozens of beautifully hand-crafted Christmas cards from Haiti. They were created by remote Haitian villagers, who cut silhouettes of Christmas figures from banana leaves and attached them to cards-- a simple and very moving effect.  Then we at PIGGYINK hindquarters added heartfelt words of AD's own Bernice Angoh.  The finished result is a perfect blend of craftsy elegance and Christmas cheer, and the best thing about it, is the double-fold gift in giving:  first, to the people of Haiti who are trying to help themselves, and second, to those whom you choose to give the cards.  A third gift, of course, is the gift that comes back to you from giving--but that's what Christmas is all about, isn't it?

Click the link below to see details of each card and to order them. Cards will be sold at $25 per set of one dozen.

Proceeds will be donated to Sion Fonds, a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to keeping families together and improving quality of life in rural Haiti. Sion Fonds works with villages in rural Haiti to send children to school, teach job skills to parents, build wells, etc.  Learn more about them by visiting their website:
