Excerpts of that article:: The glory,sanctity and beauty of our ancient culture and traditions is reflected in our age old temples and mandirs. The Onus of upholding the sanctity of these holy places lies on our shoulders, especially the younger generation. For ages, piety and serenity were the hallmarks of ancient temples. Of late, the pious and serene ambience of these places of worship is being adulterated by some deplorable and disgusting acts of a few individuals who label themselves as lovers or love birds. It is pity indeed that these love-animals are using such places of high-esteem as a rendezvous. The congenial atmosphere and secluded environs of our spacious temples are enticing modern day Adam and Eve to 'sanctify' the places with their unholy presence and glorified acts.

It is agonising to watch the conversion of precious temple space into a meeting place of these lovers. The author requested the officials of the Endowment Department to move in and curb these sacreligious practices and keep these lovers at bay.

My points::

I strictly condemn this article.
1) Why should Lovers be kept away from Temples and Mandirs?

Temples are meant for everyone. Irrespective of their caste,creed and religion and our social status and property, people go there to pray God. Similarly Lovers also go there for Prayer, Penance,Worship and Devotion. Is Love a Crime? If Lovers go there to pray for HIS blessings what is there wrong in it?
If Lovers visit Parks or Restaurants, you name it as "Roaming". If they come to God, you define it as "Unholy". In the temple, at the Holy Feet of God, who dares to get bad thoughts? How the presence of Lovers make the temple, "unholy". In fact they go there to pray HIM to help in converting their mental communion to be acceptable to one and all. Don't they have that right? Who are we to avoid them?

2) What is the guarantee that any male and female who talk there are Lovers?

In fact, if any two people, who know each other well, if happened to meet in temple, they just enquire the whereabouts.Only for the courtesy sake they exchange words feeling that the other person might think bad if they don't talk.

If the concerned authorities pass a rule that lovers should not come to the temple, What is the guarantee that people feel serenity there? Serenity or Calmness is a feeling one should feel in his/her heart. We go to temple for personal interaction with God. If God is there for us to look at, why should we after all change our attention and look at other people?

If there is a change in the request that if concerned authorities pass a rule that no one should talk in the premises of the temple and should maintain silence. It is Ok. It is ridiculous to say that Lovers should be kept away from the temples. And another fact is ,Even if we impose the rules, who will enforce it? Certain issues are there which must be maintained with the Self-Discipline of the citizens.

It is better to keep boards and write there to maintain silence in the premises of the temples, at least people try to follow, one day or other, in one way or other.
