".We Arabs, especially the educated among us, look with the deepest sympathy on the Zionist Movement. Our deputation here in Paris is fully acquainted with the proposals submitted yesterday by the Zionist Organization to the Peace Conference, and we regard them as moderate and proper. We will do our best, in so far as we are concerned, to help them through: we will wish the Jews a most hearty welcome home…..

Are We Ignoring The Facts?

Does anyone doubt that the land of Israel, as described in the Bible, belongs to the Jewish People?
Does anyone believe that the Middle East crisis is about occupied land?
Do you believe that the September 11 attacks on our World Trade Center stem from a religious and peaceful book or rather from a culture of law which is anchored in the religion, meaning that if Arabs have lived in a place or land they can never give up that land without being in conflict with the law of the Koran?
Does anyone still believe that if Israel would stop building the settlements there would be peace?
That what Sharon believied that if Israel left the Gaza strip, this land would became an oasis of peace and an example for the entire Middle East, for its development and organization, like the Jews did it in their part of the land? The opposite happened - Gaza became a launching pad for rockets against the Jewish civilian population.
Can anyone believe that Israel will watch the rockets hitting its villages without reacting or renouncing its right to self defense from fear of hitting civil population? We Americans have been fighting for over eight years because the terrorists hit our Two Towers and killed over 3000 civilians and we are not yet finished; but now we are telling the Israelis not to defend themselves? Are we hypocrites?
The Arabs are the ones who went back on their commitment expressed in a letter from Feisal, representing the Arab Delegation at the Peace Conference in Paris, addressed to Mr. Frankfurter, President of the American Zionists Federation, dated January 3, 1919 which among others says:

(From) “Delegation Hedjazienne
Paris
1.March.1919

….We Arabs, especially the educated among us, look with the deepest sympathy on the Zionist Movement.

(Signed) Feisal”
