The TV series, Blue Bloods, takes up President's Reagan's challenge as it reinforces American values and culture as well as faith in God and remembering September 11.

Where were you during 9/11?

One of today's show on TV deals with that.

* The 1980s

- Reagan was president, and gave a warming of carrying on American values in his farewell address

- Tom Sellect starred in Magnum PI, which was perhaps the first to celebrate World Two and Vietnam vets.

* September 11

- 30 years later, Selleck stars in Blue Bloods, a story of Irish-Americans, many who have been police officers in New York city

- The show heeds President Reagan's warning and ends with a wonderful tribute of the first responders of 9/11
