Do You Prefer Steak or Hamburger?

Traditional Publishers have always been the way to go but in doing so it is alot harder process to overcome. Web publishers do offer new authors an easier alternative for publishing but in my experience lacks in the capitalization and marketing areas. This perhaps will improve as the web publishing companies will grow.
I believe there will for some time be a conflict between the two but for any author to be published by a traditional publishing house, your odds and book sales are evidently much better.
Traditional publishers offer higher capitalization and marketing skills to increase the author profile and sales while web publishers sadly do not.
All in all either way you go publishing will forever be a difficult industry to crack.
