I have the MUNCHIES! 3/6/2013 10:26:36 AM Have you ever craved something to eat and didn't know what it would be? I am hungry!!!!!! It's not the kind of hungry that I need to prepare a meal. On the contrary, I finished breakfast just an hour ago. But I am feeling like I want to eat something. I don't want to get into the whole therapy thing where people say you think your hungry but in reality your missing something in your heart. Maybe you need love and therefore you think your hungry. No that's not it either. I know I'm loved and I am also very happy with my life right now. I could use a little extra money and I wish my books would sell, but that's just part of life. I am hungry enough for something and I can't put my finger on it. I've looked through all the cabinets and there is nothing there but healthy stuff. (Hmmm! I wonder what the dog biscuits taste like.) You see what I mean? It's not the normal hungry.
I have been this way since Christmas. We have been on a healthy eating lifestyle and as the holidays approached, we decided to maintain our weight loss and enjoy the holiday treats, but only a few so we didn't gain our weight back that we had lost. A reasonable decision, I can live with that. We were very careful and responsible as we drastically cut down the normal Thanksgiving/Christmas "goodies". I am so proud of our family. We made it the healthiest holidays ever in the history of mankind (except for Adam and Eve of course, they didn't know about junk food yet).
So why am I not happy with my thoughts of food! I think I feel deprived. I only made one batch of fudge for Christmas. Normally I made three or four double batches.
Oh wait! Somebodies at the door, be back in a minute! I think its the Schwan's guy and he has ice cream cones! Never mind, I'm back. Didn't have enough money. Oh well, don't care that much for ice cream anyway. (I'm still wondering about those dog biscuits though.)
So, I made it through Thanksgiving and Christmas and Valentines day and all the traditional candies that go along with it. The next candy holiday is Easter! If I can pass up the chocolate bunny ears, I'm home free. No more temptation after that, but I'm still hungry.

Those biscuits aren't bad at all, a little dry, need milk.
