slowing down

havent seen me much around here....but im still around and kicking...just been enjoying my new lifestyle...the slow kind.
not much happens here...aside from time usual petty stuff like the pipes choosing to make themselves noticed, or the fachia boards around the outside of the house reminding me this is not a new house, but one with a history all its own.
yes, i have created a new life for myself away from the bustle of the big cities. wisest thing i have ever done.
theres nothing fancy here, just history lurking around corners, old buildings infusing the mind with all sorts of
possible tales behind them.
we have things here that the big cities have, but not as fancy, and they dont draw the huge crowds like the cities.
no, this is a small town, with friendly people and good people....my kind of people.
its been a refreshing time for me...someone raised all over the world...going here and there...seeing places others only dream about...meeting different types of people...good, bad, ugly, and nice...seeing the world as it is...but always dreaming of what i'd really like...being accepted for me, laughing, smiling, being simple...not put on.
a dream come true...one i can use as materials for what i write, one that gives me inspirations, one that i not only feel safe in, but as one with. home...what a wonderful name and feeling for one who has never enjoyed this or had it before. i feel comfortable with what i write now and sort of dreamy as well. a new experience...yet a good experience...now when i say 'welcome to my world' its an honest and warm greeting.....i am home
