Dear Friends and everybody you know who wishes they had a good one right about now:
Watching Tavis Smiley . midnight. A neat New York dude named Jason Zweig, also a Wall Street writer, wrote a book called "The Little Book of Safe Money: How to conquer killer markets, con artists, and yourself."
He's got some great "commandments" in that book...one stuck with me:
"Thou shalt take no risk that thou needest not take."
People can see that in two way depending on their level of confidence vs fear:
Way 1: People who've been burnt badly in emotional, spiritual, mental, financial and phyically abusive ways can live based on the past and freeze themselves against opportunities...or...
Way 2:People who are surrounded by supportive caring listening and understanding take-no-nonsense people who commit to you if you commit to them, will help us all get past the fear, so we can move on in spite of the outcome.
If it doesn't kill ya' it'll make you stronger. The economy is killing off a lot of folks who lay down and say "I can't help myself, my job is gone, my marriage is crumbling, my kid is locked up, my house is foreclosed, my spirit is low and my boss is an idiot......etc. etc.
Guess what...there are survivors among us all. And they ai'n't rolling over playin' dead.
blessin's,
