Polygamy - Political Marriage - Couples in the Bible - Political Murder. Take some time and read the scriptures for yourself.

David had 8 wives - I Samuel 18:27; 25:42-43; 2 Samuel 3:2-5; m11:27; 12:8
Solomon had 700 wives & 300 concubines - I Kings 11:3
Rehoboam, Solomon's son who had 18 wives & 60 concubines - 2 Chronicles 11:21
Marriages - Esther 2:17 ... King to Esther
Esther 1 & 2 - Vashti displeases Ahauerus & Esther chosen to be queen. Mordecai discovereth a treason, is recorded in the chronicles.
Esther 2:7 - who saved her people from destruction (this does not only have to refer to the Jewish community, it could be a group of people, a culture, etc)
