Who Ya Gonna Email?

Pushing toys instead of books.
Didja know there's a new penny out? Maybe there are more, but I've only noticed the one. Lincoln sitting on a log. Sorry, but there are way too many childish bathroom jokes associated with that.

The weekend was pretty calm. I grabbed Punkin' Saturday around noon and drove north to a seed-n-feed where Chris had told me they were doing low-cost pet vaccinations. They had...earlier that day. So I turned and drove south to the next site, riding past the local Pioneer Days festival where a teenaged girl in a tiara was being hoisted into an ambulance on a stretcher. Musta fell off her pedestal.

I arrived at the hardware store on time for the vaccination thing, but the vets were almost an hour late. Punkin' has been with us for months, but we're trying to find a home for him, Orange Julius, Li'l Ho (aka White Trash), and possibly Murray, too. All of these cats started as strays. If we don't find homes for them right away we start getting them neutered and getting their shots so they're all the more desirable. Murray's been with us for years. We really don't need to collect animals, but it's not always easy to find homes for them.

Chris called and asked if he could borrow sixty dollars and the next thing you know we're riding to some guy's house to pick up an antique phone booth. We visited Sound Exchange in Brandon where I bought another MST3K flick, Lies For The Liars by The Used, and The Blues Brothers soundtrack. Chris got some Beatles, had a couple of country CDs repaired, then got Rogue's Gallery which is a collection of pirate songs by modern artists. Really, if your tastes are eclectic, you can't beat a good used CD and movie store for really bulking up your collections.

Speaking of collecting, I've got a huge box of Ghostbusters/The Real Ghostbusters toys and collectibles I'm trying to get rid of. There are close to seventy items and I'm still turning stuff up as I go through my belongings in storage. I've got cartoon episodes on VHS, a hat, patches, "weapons", ghosts, monsters, vehicles, action figures, a board game, a radio, a stationary kit, a grooming kit, Ecto-plasm, posters.... I've looked up some of it on eBay and seen individual items in poor condition going for thirty dollars and more, and I've got the same stuff in much better condition. Ideally, I get rid of the whole shebang for one low price, but if I have to break it up and sell off the more desirable pieces separately, well I'll make lots more money and the remaining stuff might well go to Goodwill. Wanna make me an offer? Discuss what I've got to see what you can use to fill your own collection? Email me at Phikindic.aol.com.

Free cat with any purchase.

You do know that's a joke, don't you?
