Author shares her own nightmares and fears to help others
Even those lost in a world of abuse and torture, have hopes. They were just lost or "damaged goods" due to the abusive environment. With freedom from this world, came the reality of needing to learn to live in the present. Still with reality of the baggage from this world of abuse I'd lived in, I achieved goals, which I wanted to enable to meet and satisfy my hopes and expectations in life! The Journey is the story of the ups and downs of living through abuse and then trying to fit into the present and working to make my hopes and expectations come true.
From constant fear and abuse, to being raped, nearly killing someone, thoughts of suicide, overwhelming emotional pain, its all here. From escaping this world of abuse, to continuing having problems with coping in my present world, the reader enters a world, where many live in, but few survive!
