Full Moons
4/21/2009 5:04:22 PM    [ Flag as Inappropriate ]

Wesak full moon is one of the 3 major full moons which can impact powerfully in our lives....

Full Moon Taurus 9/5/2009 -The Wesak Festival has been traditionally associated in eastern civilization with the Buddha, The Buddha is the expression of the Wisdom of God, the embodiment of light and the indicator of divine purpose, cooperating at this festival with his brother the Christ. The Buddha embodies the principle of Light, and because of this illumination humanity was able to recognize the Christ, embodiment of the still greater Principle of love.
Goodwill or “the will to good” is a strong theme of the Buddha energy and this Wesak full moon coincides with a strong “will” pattern in the cosmic arena testing us with our integrity and consciousness with “will issues”. Global and personal wounds can be released through this window with mindfulness and forgiveness..
Globally we are being asked to look at patterns (collectively and personally) which interfere with the flow of goodwill, are we being wilful or willing? Are we stuck in old emotional or belief patterns which interfere with our goodwill? Where are we the most possessive or fearful, where do we need to let go?
Wesak full moon always occurs through the dynamic pair Taurus/Scorpio giving us the opportunity to shine awareness on our purpose and to give a deeper understanding of our karmic blocks and challenges..........
Some keys words for this Taurus/Scorpio –
letting go/holding on
going through a point of no return/unwilling to shift on an issue
what is hidden and concealed/what is touchy-feelingly obvious
hidden treasure/available income
trust/betrayal
trust/value
unknown/known
your stuff/my stuff
endings/everything stays the same
The two weeks following a Full Moon are a time for us to release and let go of something connected to the sign of the Full Moon - in this case Taurus.
Additionally, in your personal horoscope the house where you are experiencing the Full Moon will impact what area of life you are being asked to let go of something.

You can use this guide to get a better idea of what the Full Moon in Taurus means to you, and what you are being asked to let go of over the next 2 weeks.

At the exact full moon time we will experience the opportunity to gain great illumination from the planet of wisdom Saturn, who encourages us to overcome limitation and fear and join in with the other great beings, who have already climbed the sheer cliff face of life and are now in the wings of life aiding us to overcome the sorrows of this world.
