If a blog falls . . .
If a blog falls in a forest, does anyone read it? My writing is that blog. As I am a POD author, the forest does not fear me, as they have not had to cut down very many trees to publish my books.
My greatest fan and only living member of my fan club is my brother Steve (the other members committed suicide), who lives in Minnesota (I do not hold that against him). He works for Northwest airlines and travels a lot. In his travels, he leaves my books in public restrooms in the hope that some one important from a major Publisher someday will walk in and read my book while answering the call of nature (as opposed to using it for toilet paper), discover my brilliance and sign me up for a major publishing contract.
While I am waiting for that to happen (and not holding my breath) - does anyone have any marketing suggestions (along the lines of marketing for dummies)?
If I do not receive a response to this blog, I will know for sure that the forest is indeed empty.
