A Special Thank You to my Friends 8/20/2009 10:07:07 AM One of my favorite pass-times is found here at Authors Den.
I love to check the reviews. I especially like to check the "Potential Sales" I don't do this because I am counting sales but because I can review who is reading my works.
There have been well over 300,000 visits to various poems I have posted. Some of them were posted as far back as 1997 and people are still reading.
It has been wonderfully uplifting to review some of your many wonderful reviews. So This is just a short "I thank you!"
below are just a few examples: There are many more than I could print I thank you one and all from the bottom of my heart.
God bless you,
Lew

Sound advice, as usual Lew. My worry though is that political correctness will make it more difficult for the young to know who Jesus really is. I suppose my hope rests with families to keep on instilling in their children Biblical truths...for in the end, mankind has nothing to offer.
God Bless

This was written straight from the heart, and with complete secerity...and so true indeed, I can even recall hearing my mother say some of the very words that you've written...such as " you're just young, you'll learn...when you get older you'll understand" and she was right. It does seem that time moved slower when we were anxious to grow up, but when we finally arrived...man, the hands on the clock have gained speed! Enjoyed this...it is full of wisdom and warm truth.
Blessings and Merry Christmas,
Joyce Bowling

“They must learn from experience as they live out each and every day.”
Words of wisdom indeed Lew for I was told of truth in my youth, but had to live it out to see the pain. Our prayers are that some will heed wisdoms call. May you and yours have a very blessed Christmas Day.

"The young would change the world and make it a better place.
Somehow the odds are greater that they only learn by the troubles they must face."
Sad truth, Lew. Thank you for sharing this message. Blessings to you,
Regis
