Unavoidable

Due to circumstances my participation in the den has suffered greatly of late. After finally landing a decent job in mid-October and all the preps for visits over the holidays and not yet learning how to live on an 8 to 5 and fit everything else in on weekends, I had a house fire a week before Christmas. The damage was extensive but repairable but I will be out of my home for 6 months to a year. Still trying to wrap my mind around it all. They did find a gas leak so after a month we are still not able to start repairs until all the gas lines are repaired and replaced.
My sons really stepped up to the plate and I am so proud. I am living with my oldest and his lovely wife has taken me under her wing. My youngest, living 600 miles away, was here with his whole family in tow 12 hours after we boarded up the house. I am so proud of them both. I must have done something right.
My computer time is so limited and time out of the office is spent in meetings and nogotiations and the like on the house.
So I won't lie and say I've been reading everyone. But it is not a lie to say I miss you all. Pray for a little bit of quiet in my life and hopefully I will find a moment or two to relax and enjoy my friends on the den. And to get some of these emotions down on paper.
