In my opinion - there's no such thing as rejection!

FED UP OF REJECTION? WELL ASK YOURSELF - ARE THEY RIGHT?
The start of a new year - Hooray and with it, comes fresh ideas, a fresh approach and fresh optimism. I don't know about you, but 2007 for me was a huge learning curve in the world of writing. For one thing, I never stopped writing all year and I've now finished my first novel, two short stories and begun another two.
Also, I learnt that there's no such thing as rejection when you submit. This doesn't sound as strange as you may think. You see, the various people that I've spoke to are all individuals with different opinions, hence how can it be called rejection if one person sends your m/s back to you? In my opinion it's one persons subjective view point against another.
In conclusion remember the creators of Red Dwarf ... No, let me refresh the old memory banks for you then. The BBC said it would never work and they'd only take it on if they did x, y and z to the script. The Red Dwarf boys said no and stuck to their guns ... and the rest as they say is history.
So, remember, it's your baby, your idea and someone out somewhere will believe in it as much as you do ... All you have to do is find them!
