Will stand any test and very strikes of all
Overwhelm the best of very bests of day
As though there was any within striking space
My boast that the champ and very sister dear
The awe striking and unassuming striker
Will carry the day with customary grace
Appeared so early to have been punctured
The strikes and insinuating strokes
From the little lad seemed to know no bounds
Up your sleeves lay in unfamiliar leisure
The grunts and guts that turned the chart
Your elegant and cheerful march
Into the expectant wait of the Charleston SC court
Was the grace we all know and cherish!
Of a lad that has given and yet doth give
