God is The God of Life

During this season...we consider Christ's birth...His life, while during 'Easter' we ponder His death and subsequent return to life...
Hi!
How are you? I hope you are at peace with The Lord Jesus.
Because you have checked out my blog, I am going to share some insight about my recently posted poem "At Christmas Time".
After Christ's birth, after this baby was successful delivered from the womb of Mary by God, there were those who wished the infant had never been born.
Consider Herod. To him...Jesus birth was unwanted. Jesus would spoil his human plans to be the only king. If Herod had known earlier...and had lived in our day--there is no doubt that he would have pressured Mary to abort her baby. Such are the plans and wisdom of fallen humanity.
And so this Christmas we are reminded of a stark contrast!
Life VS. Death. And in my poem "At Christmas Time", I attempt, dependent upon the grace of God, to show this contrast. I carefully chose each word. To those who read it quickly and do not ponder its deeper meaning...they will be like the ground that was superficial and the bird that quickly snatched any meaning from them. Those people will view the poem with confusion and disdain.
To those who meditate on it...they will understand that I am not talking about a school bus. Rather- the womb.
I will not give away the rest of the poem. It was purposely written to conceal from lazy minds its true meaning.
God is a giver. He is the most generous being there is, ever has been or ever will be.
May you take the time to find out what Christ-mas is really about!
