Rain, rain, rain...
4/11/2009 8:35:28 AM
It's raining again... come on aficionados of crime writing, it's time to get busy!
The rain outside is drumming on my roof and windows with a vengeance, as if it wants to be let inside and is angry with me for refusing it entry. Well, rain or no, I still have to go to my regular 9-5 and make a living. Still, I can't help but think about how rain can be a friend to the crime writer, reader.... or even real-life criminal. A hard cascading rain can act as a curtain that can hide even the most heinous act, it can help even further by washing away blood and evidence. I like the rain, except when I have to work in it myself... in fact I have to call one of my bosses in a couple of minutes to find out what I'm expected to do today. In the rain. A hard, cascading, hiding kind of rain...
