Waiting for Bush's Apology? Don't Hold Your Breath!
10/24/2004 8:43:49 PM
Dan Rather has been criticized so much for "not checking the facts" on the reports he published about Bush's military history.

When is America going to hold Bush accountable for "not checking the facts" before sending US Troops to war in Iraq based on "inconclusive intelligence" which has resulted in thousands of deaths of our men and women?

Forget Dan Rather. What about Bush? Dan Rather is not our president who has lied to the American people. IF HE HAD KNOWN those reports were false, he would not have covered them. Even better, when he found out that they were false, he APOLOGIZED.

Bush has yet to apologize to the American people for sending us to fight a war based on lies. He made a mistake, and he's not even man enough to say he's sorry. Actually, he didn't make a mistake. Who am I kidding? He knew there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. No mistake, just money at stake.

Be careful who you vote for, it might come back to bite you.

I'm not saying that Kerry has all of the answers or any of them. I just say that Bush's answers are tired, played and just lies. Who, in their right state of mind, could deny it? If your son or daughther, husband or wife had perished or suffered in Iraq, you might be able to understand. Until then, you "might not" have a clue. I'm a little skeptical of anyone who can sincerely support a man who would send a nation's armed forces to fight without just cause.

What would Jesus do? That question is for all the people who keep walking around saying " . . . but Bush is such a Christian, moral man . . . He's pro life and against gay marriage." Stop waiting for Bush to perform the miracles that only God can bring to fruition.

I'm not questioning his salvation, but I am questioning his leadership. A good leader is one who can also be a good follower. This year I'm voting for the social, financial and physical needs of America, and I'm going to let God handle the rest.
