Okay, second blog here. It’s all so new to me so I don’t really know what to write about quite yet, but I do know that it’s something I’ll be doing quite frequently. Since I love writing and expression my thoughts and opinions is one of the only ways to relieve stress and creativity, then blogging is a pretty good way to accomplish all of those things.
Today, or tonight (since I’m writing this so late at night/early in the morning), I want to write about my inspirations. One of my top influences, and newest, is Kimora Lee Simmons. She’s overcome so much in her life and came out on top. From being teased and being called a “chinky giraffe,” she stood out, made her features and awkwardness into something beautiful. And not to mention, she’s proven that she can do so much more than anyone ever thought she could.
One of the main reasons she inspires me is because of that alone and I have experienced some similar things in my lifetime and I would just like to prove everyone wrong and become the millionaire that I know I can become. Through my writing and other talents (I know this sounds so cliché, but it’s true), I can become something bigger than I ever imagined. But I struggle with self-confidence and often hide behind my writing as a way to cover up any insecurities I may be feeling. But after reading Kimora Lee Simmons’ book, Fabulosity, I feel like I can definitely do anything I believe I can do.
In this book, she offers so much helpful advice on getting your foot in the door to any industry that you could possibly want to break into, confidence boosters, and ways to gain self-confidence. I admire her so very much and just wanted to share the views I have on her book, her lifestyle and her in general with everyone.
Well, that’s all for now!!! I know I don’t write much, but that’s because I’m busy promoting my book, which will be out soon! It’s called Whatever It Takes, in case I didn’t mention that!! I forget sometimes, so…what are ya gonna do? LOL. Anyway, until next time!! Muah! XOXOXOXO
