Saturday At The Mall
9/16/2008 7:52:03 PM
On Saturday I sat under a tent along with about sixty or seventy people. Let me explain, I wasn't at the circus. My town had their first outdoor mall. My sister and I sat at a table--each of us trying to promote what we had brought. I, of course, brought my book. I sold seven books one of which the mayor brought.

On one side of me sat a young man selling snakes, fish and something else. I've yet to figure out what it was. At one point the snake stuck his head out of the glass container he was in.
My fear that he would soon be heading my way doubled, I moved my chair further away, but alas my fear subsided when the snakes slide back in the container. To say I breathed a sigh of relief is putting it mildly.
