The Blues
9/30/2008 8:44:26 AM
As of October 1st, my first novel, The Boxcar Blues is doing better than I expected, but then not as well as I had hoped. All the comments I've gotten are very positive and everyone I've heard from, said they liked Luke and Curly. This means my decision to perpetuate the series was the right one, so far.

A sequel, The Brazilian Blues will be out later this month. This is a fast moving story about a kidnapping in the danger-filled Amazon Basin. A 1,000 mile chase down the mighty Amazon is filled with unexpected developments that complicate an already daunting task: A boat gets stranded, the ransom money is stolen, Luke gets thrown in jail...and that's only the beginning.

That's the present situation. I'd like to share with you, the past and what it took for me to get to this point, because it has definitely been an interesting and enlightening experience.

Next entry, A Very Bad Writer
