The Queen Does Not Cook

(I have a little plaque on a kitchen wall that states that)
I am a very fortunate woman. My husband does all the cooking. Several years ago when I announced I was going to write a book, and that it would take a lot of time, his answer was "You write, I'll cook." Four books later and he's still doing it.
A little while ago I was e-mailing an author and in her answer she said she would get back to me when she doesn't have a chicken in the oven needing attention.
Then I read a blog from my friend on Authors Den - who said she had to get the muffins out of the oven. With that, I immediately headed for the kitchen and baked two dozen oatmeal cookies for my husband.
That should do it while I write my fifth book.
