Reflection: An Important Part of Personal Growth
7/2/2010 6:33:37 PM    [ Flag as Inappropriate ]

Reflection,careful afterthought about a decision made or action taken,can make a considerable difference in the personal growth you experience.

Reflection, careful afterthought about a decision made or action taken ,can make a considerable difference in the personal growth you experience.
Reflection gives you the opportunity to revisit,rethink, and perhaps fine tune a decision or action,and because this is so, better results follow.

Many of us have been told that it is best to decide and take action quickly,as soon as we have the necessary information,and I agree with this advice,for the most part.
But there is however, a need to revisit the contemplated decision and/or action, before implementation, so that you are sure that the decision,or the action, is the very best at the time.
A brief time of reflection, to give the decision the "once over", will prove invaluable in making sure that the course chosen is the one to take.

Regular reflection will enhance your decision making abilities and as a result, you will experience more and more personal growth success.

The small amount of time needed to reflect upon an action with the intent of making it as good as possible,will foster better and better actions in every part of your life and affairs,and this goal,I believe,is the hope of all of us who desire to improve ourselves daily by making better decisions and taking more precise actions.

What NOW:

*Revisit a recent decision or action;
Determine if a time of reflection could have made it better;

*If it's not too late, implement the changes that resulted from your time of reflection;

*Resolve to use more reflection in the future as you make important decisions and take the necessary actions to reach your personal growth goals as well as the goals to which you aspire in all other areas of your life and affairs.
