Will I Ever Complete True Life Stories Bottled Up Inside?
1/6/2014 4:53:14 PM    [ Flag as Inappropriate ]

Why Such difficulty finishing books that I've started.
The writer in me spills out of my very being so why do I procrastinate so? I have many true stories that I believe could help others. Most are from my own experiences. One side of my brain says "yes, you can reach people with all you've went through" but then this small voice in my mind begins to echo the same old familiar question...Why would anyone want to read what you have to say? Who are you? No one knows your name! Then I put down the pen, or shut down the computer and give into this enemy of my writing! But here me all who will! I have words to be written! Stories and experiences to share! People to help! How do I do this when no one knows me? How do I get my stories in front of their face? I can share with you true, honest details on abortion because I've been there! I can tell you from first hand experience about be a quadriplegic! I know what it feels like to live on the streets and be cold, hungry and scared! My heart sinks for men and woman as they watch their parents become the child and them have to take the role of the parent/caretaker...a parent with Alzheimer's. Yes, I've been there too! The heartbreak of watching your parent draw their last breath as you hold them in your arms, whispering in their ear that your are there...Don't be afraid...I'm here and won't leave you! Yes, I know this too! I have started many of these stories and stop when I hear the little voice once again saying "Who Are You That Others Would Want to Read Your Stories!" Will I ever complete these books?
