The Message

I hate to scare you away with another entry containing sadness, but this one is about that sort of thing. . .

I woke to a message that triggered a few tears. It was from a person who had been interested in my writing but then turned away because I have been through such tough times and express so much sadness. . . I felt rejected and sad and sent back this letter with a tear rolling down my cheek: (Please bear with this and read what I write after the letter)

Dear ______,
Thank you for your kind wishes. Yes my life has been difficult and still is. People either turn away or keep their distance BECAUSE of this. I used to wish for a kind heart to reach in and be my serroget family and help me into safety and give me time to rebuild my life. But humanity hasn't the heart for this. Nobody wants to face the heart of anything - sad or genuinely loving. So I now share my experiences and heart with the hope that it help validate others and help heal the heart of humanity. I am doing the best I can to care enough to give and offer help to a humanity that does not help me, or any other stranger who is in need. Its difficult, but the most difficult part is being surrounded by people who don't know how to care - people who just coldly turn away. My latest entry, "Holding On" sums it up. Please do read it.(I am more than any of you realize)

So now I feel guilty about clicking send, because I know my words were harsh and unfair to the kindest parts of humanity. (Please know that my lashing was at humanity in general and NOT at this den's members) I should have taken the time to process my feelings before responding to this rejection. I know that there are some good caring people in the world and that I just haven't met many of them. In my heart I can understand that people, who have not experienced extremely tough times, are just not capable of understanding. I also understand that those who have been through tough times, and do not face or deal with the depths of their own feelings, can feel uncomfortable with them being triggered by someone who does. Its just a sad place for them and a lonely place for me and this is what my life's work is all about - "Embracing Feelings"

P.S. Please do not make comments on my blog unless you take the time to fully read them, because it gets confusing when comments don't match what is shared. (Please don't be offended if I erase comments that may be confusing or misleading to other readers as well as myself.)Thank you.
