The last few days.
I went to Norwich to see my daughter and my grandchildren, stayed over. It gives me time to be the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland. Well I have to be, they believe Ive lost the plot so rather than admit it I play the part. It was great fun. We went out hunting firework displays last night. Saw a well organized one pretty spectacular. The trick was to find the best view without going into the grounds. We found a very good vantage point in a hospital car park. Empty all to ourselves and a full view not 600 yards away. Its no good with very small children going into crowd pulling events.
The journey home was eventful. I knew there was work on the rail lines and I was going to be shunted one station along the line in a coach, rail replacement service. That was alright, well the rest was off the wall. (.25 pm we arrived at a remote place call Diss where a train was waiting bound for London. Sadly the train was not what I expected, flipping electric train. We had to change a second time a Colchester, a train was waiting, but after that it was slow. I arrived home after having to change trains also on the Underground from Liverpool Street to home. Well I arrived indoors at 12.10 am. But it was Fun.
