Greetings and Salutations gentle readers.

Not much happened today, it was even quiet on the feral front. Added to that we did not win the OZ Lotto, but then what's new.

It looks like the road trip to Sydney is on again, and that we have enough to make it work. It's amazing what eBay can do for one.

Added to that, it would seem that the Family Assistance Office will be paying out on the pre-election promise after all. On accessing our files, we will be receiving a Bonus payment of $1800 on the 18th.

I suppose that is one thing about Australia, we are paid to look after our children, paid to have children, and paid to stay at home. Of course the problem is that too many people who will get the Bonus, will spend it on drugs and alchohol, instead of contributing towards the children, which is what it is meant for. But I suppose that is their way. I often wonder what they would do if they lived in another country. One that is not run as a welfare state.

Tonight i cooked up a Sate' Chicken dish, with saffron rice for dinner. Juanita contributed by cooking a Honey rice pudding. Most satisfying. I was going to open a Bottle of Merlot but for some reason forgot to do it. Had coffee instead.

As I said in the begining, nothing much happened today. So I think i will go to bed and sleep on it.
