Greetings once again

Yesterday we entered a state of siege as we were invaded by small boys, intent on creating havoc. The reason for this was Jeffery's Birthday Party. Actualy it was a low key affair that moved between the Playstation and the Food. That is until they decided that it would be easier to take the food to the playstation. The result is that i will now have to mop his floor before the ants find the spilled cordial and coke

For other entertainment I borrowed four DVDs from the Video store. Most dissapointed as all the DVDs were scratched beyond repair and we were unable to watch them. Jeffery and the two leftovers finaly went to bed at 11pm, talked until 1 am and finaly went to sleep around 1.30.

I returned the DVDs today and they were replaced, which is small comfort for the kids

On the subject of Video games, I have just read in the newspaper a report that some "Parents", and I use the term loosely, are leaving their children in Computer Cafes for up to twenty four hours at a time, although in one case two kids were left for two days, while the parents went out to the casinos, or indulged in other activities. The concern being that leaving a ten year old in such a position of danger, is to my mind, tantamount to child abuse, or at the very least, Child Abandonment. The matter only came to atention of Authoritys when a complaint of sexual abuse was made.

I think I will spend the rest of the day taking it easy, that is until it is time to start cooking dinner. Hmmm...Must remember to bring in the washing.
