A few thoughts *********************************************************

Greetings

Have had a rather hectic week. My computer was invaded by a trojan and a virus. No internet connection, and my settings changed, not to mention the open door to all the porn spam. I finally gave up trying to fix it and ended up reformatting the hard drive. As I do not have a burner on this unit, i lost a whole lot of stuff. Added to this, my graphics card was totaled. So after fitting a new card I am finally back online.

Mojo

Mojo is still Pregnant, she is getting quite large around the midrif. It's rather funny watching her walk, and the way she flops on the floor. She is still quite active though, yesterday morning she ate Ashley's pet bird, much to the chagrin of Ashley.

Neighbors

The ferals next door have obtained another dog, or should I say an oversized rat. They leave it on the outside landing all day and it yaps incessantly. Think I might have to send my cat over to eat it.

They have cleaned up their yard a bit as of late. The unfinished boat has gone. The old car body went as well, only problem is that they merely transferred it to the street and left it there. Hopefully the council will take it away.

The Taxation department has taken an interest in his prior activities, it would seem that he failed to declare income for two years. he also failed to advise social security that he was no longer eligible for payments. Apart from incurring a massive Social Security debt, and a taxation debt, which will have to be repayed, he could be charged with defrauding the Commonwealth.

School Holidays

The school term has ended and the kids are on holiday for two weeks, as of yesterday.

Ashley, my youngest, is going to stay at a freinds house for the next two days. Jeffery is going to spend a night or two at a freinds place, and Stephanie will spend a fair ammount of time at her freinds houses.

I might take Stephanie with me next week when i go to see my casting agent. She has expressed an interest in acting, and with her looks she may well be accepted. I have told her that if she wishes to act as a career, she will have to finish school and audition for NIDA, the national dramatic arts college. She is still with her junkie boyfreind, but he seems to be cleaning up his act as of late, he has a job, and they only see each other on the weekends. I think he wants to move back in, but he has lost our trust. Besides I feel it's better this way. He can pay court to her as a real gentleman should. Today she has gone out with one of her girlfreinds, which kind of pissed him off a bit. But the way I figure it, she's a free agent and he cannot dictate who she has as freinds, or monopolise her time. He still needs to learn respect. I am still hoping she will eventually see him for what he really is, not for what she wants him to be.

Politics

We are going through an Election Campaign at the moment. On the one side is the Liberal Government and its leader John Howard, affecionately known as the "Garden Gnome". On the other side is the Labor Party and its leader Mark Latham.

Now Mr Howard wants to maintain the staus quo', send more troops to Iraq, maintain Tax levels and etc.

Mark Latham wants to bring the troops home, decrease taxes, and increase social security payments.

Frankly it is all quite confusing. They keep stealing each others policies, and over all, apart from the Iraq issue, they both sound the same.Albeit that I have a feeling that the Labour Party will in all probability win the election. Popular feeling is that the job in Iraq is finished and we should leave them alone to sort out their own form of Government.

I reckon that it does not matter what the Allies do, Iraq will still end up with a Muslim Theocracy, probably She'ite. And if Putin does not fix things, so will Russia.

Well gentle reader, I shall wander off for a while and go for a ride. It is a nice warm sunny day, and the open higway beckons me.

Until I return, may your Gods watch over you, and your lives be filled with an abundance of love.
