Wifely Duties

Four men were sitting together  at a bowling alley (while playing for their employer's team)....bragging about why they had married the types of women that they did...and how they had set their new wives straight on their duties.....

The first man, who was a typical American (White) Caucasian had married a woman from "old school" Japan. He bragged about how she had been a "geisha girl"---and that he "wore the pants in his castle"--- that she always must "obey his orders."   He claimed that he had told his wife she was going to do all the dishes and house cleaning that needed done at their house. He said that it took a couple days but on the third day he came home to see a clean house and the dishes were all washed and put away.

The second man--a huge Samoan had married a woman from a small Pacific island. He bragged to the other men...that he found a woman from the islands who had not been "tainted" by modern ideas. He bragged that he had given his wife orders that she was to do all the cleaning, dishes, and the cooking. He told them that the first day he didn't see any results, but the next day it was better. By the third day, he entered to see his house was clean, the dishes were done, and he had a huge dinner on the table.

The third man was from the Middle East and claimed to be from "old school Islamic" background.  He was the biggest bragger of them all.  He boasted how he ruled his wife with an iron hand and how she had to wear long robes to cover her body all the time, even when it was hot weather.   At first she gave him problems,  he claimed --because she had been exposed to modern American women.  But he put a stop to that. He said he could see a lot of changes since  he had forbid any women friends to visit her....and he had threatened to put her across his knee and paddle her if she did not have that house spic & span everyday when he got home.   He bragged  that by the 5th day he had her  walking 3 paces behind him.  He said whenever he came in the door he could see his wife mopping, sweeping, ironing,  or doing some type of housework.

The fourth man was an American Black man--- a city slicker--- who had married an Midwestern African-American 'country girl.'   He boasted that she had not been out of the 'ghetto' and was extremely THANKFUL to have a husband...that she "could not make it well without a man in her life."   He boasted that he told her that she had to "obey him without questions"...and that he would make his woman walk behind him. He boasted that he told her his house was to be cleaned, dishes washed, the cooking done and laundry washed, and this was all her responsibility. He said the first day he didn't see anything and the second day he didn't see anything ---but by the third day some of the swelling had gone down so he could see a little out of his left eye!
