Just a Few Words...

This gal sure wants to understand the simplicity of the techno world.
Well, as many of my former friends would say, "it sure has been awhile since we last heard from you." And the truth be told I have enjoyed time away from the techno world. But with my absense to the social media empire came the price of lagging behind.
There seems to be a virtual speed that one cannot grasp at the moment. So many of the places I used to visit via the net have changed the content of their site. I feel like I'm in a new neighbourhood trying to make sense of all the upgrades.
Passwords...oh, those dreaded passwords that somehow have vanished from whatever scrap of paper they were written on. Confusion lurks in the mind as I try to remember what form of a password was created.
33sos? lolol2011? Nothing seems to make sense as each try results in those haunting words sprawled out across the monitor... WRONG PASSWORD or something to that effect. The brain begins to unwind with each circuit breaking free thus causing an overload of jumbled words. I cannot think in a logical state.
The next and probably the most common action taken in a negative form is the shutting down of the bright screen staring at me, willing me to stay...stay...it taunts me with a small feat. I feel a leap of joy as I retrieve a password just at the exact moment I hit the button to close down. Oooooooooooooh....it's lost again!!
Yes, the virtual world can either find me with nerves of steel or nerves so frazzled that I must take that jump and return back to the real world. That's the new social media and somehow I wonder if I'll is able to fit into this sort of society.
Clouds, apps and other such words feel like math equations. Numbers have always been the weakest point for me. They are like a foreign language. I'm beginning to wonder if the Social media is becoming foreign, afterall there is so much to remember.
I must conclude that when I see all those ipads, iphones, Blackberrys and other such gadgets I can't help but think of the Physio Therapists who silently give a resounding YEEESSS...they know they will be employed for a long time.
That's my thoughts for the day and I'm sticking to them.
Guess I'm either on the same team or I'm walking the real world line....I wonder what force will be the greater!
