Well, he had no idea what it was, so he sent me to a dermatologist. Of course I called first, to see if this Dr. was on my list of providers, with my insurance. The receptionist said he was, so I made an appt.
He took a skin culture and said to use Lotrimin and Neosporum, twice a day on my fingers and come back in 2 wks.
In 2 wks. I returned. I handed the receptionist my insurance card. She looked at it and said, "I'm sorry, but we are not a member of your insurance." To shorten this again, we disagreed for a minute or two. She was correct. I couldn't keep my second appt., since we already paid $1,100.00 a month for our insurance and I had to pay for the first visit and culture. Diagnosis: possible candida
Referal Dermatoligist #2:
At this point, my arms are involved. A fire red rash, some under the skin, some on top of the skin. It looked like I scraped myself on something. At the same time, something is growing in my fingers and hands, something hard and white. The palms of my hands hurt, the pads are swollen. Diagnosis: Self Inflicted trauma to the skin.
Referal Dermatoligist #3:
Didn't know what it was, but never took a culture or did anything to find out. He used some sort of ultra-violet light on my hands for 5 minutes and gave me a RX for hydrocortizone cream, for itching. I said, "it doesn't itch!" He ask me, "well, does it itch while you're sleeping?" I answered, "how the hell would I know, I'm asleep!! And why would it only itch at night?" No response. He gave me the RX anyway. Come back in a month.
Self-picked Dermatologist #4: Didn't know, hydrocortizone cream, come back in a month.
In the meantime, I started noticing the little white needles popping out in various places, like inside my left ear and my left nostril. My nose ran all the time.
I started having a sharp pain in my back, on my left shoulder blade. Severe enough to have to ly down until it went away. Finally, I looked with a mirror to see if there was anything there and there was. It looked like a little round scar, about as big as a nickle.
At the same time I started having bright flashes of light in both eyes, outside corners, in dim lighting. Being the spiritual person I am, I thought I had a friend trying to visit me. One who just passed away. A childhood friend, but I finally realized, sitting alone in my room at bedtime, when I moved my eyes to the right and left, there's a flash of light on either side. Things are moving at a rapid pace. So far there's no one to help me.
Next Doctors visit: Emergency Room
Until Next time
P.S. We're only getting started, it gets much better!
