A New Yorker comments about River of Memories introduction and epilogue . . .
I just finished reading your book. I'm really quite impressed. You have a voice. So much of what I read now through necessity, such as manuals, how-to stuff, news, etc., could all have been written by the same person. Even fiction has become so formulized, it's hard to tell one author from another. Especially inspiring was your introduction, where you set the "river" theme. Then your epilogue, with the same theme emphasis, brought it full circle. Good work.
