God's representatives on earth?
Just read the account of the horrific slaughter of a man in London based on religious ideology. While beheading and chopping to pieces their victim, the assailants were heard to be shouting "God is Great'" With the recent attacks in Boston and so many others in this nation and abroad attributed to religious sentiments; it is indeed troubling to think that religion is the cornerstone of these events. To teach and advocate the killing of other people because they are considered to be "infidels," is not only inhumane, it is bordering on being religiously "insane." To use the concept of God to kill innocent people because one feels he is justified in doing so and is representing God in his act of slaughter is an insult to the true nature of God. How these individuals can so loudly pray and declare that God is the "Merciful," and consistently act in such "unmerciful ways," is an appalling misrepresentation of the true God.
