My agent has made clear that my newest book needs a lot of work before it's publishable. Bummer! I don't hold it against her, though some points in her critique were a surprise, much of it wasn't. It *does* need some work. I tried to write a book in 4 months and it just didn't work. Some authors can write that fast, but I'm just not one of them. I need time for ideas to "cook."
