This is going to be a small and rather brief blog. It is 12:30 UK time and I have a job to go to in the morning. However, before someone else jumps in, I wanted to point out that there may have been some numerologist at work in the way Barack Obama was introduced just before he took office.

He was not introduced as Barack Obama. Nor was he introduced as Barack Hussein Obama. His middle name 'Hussain' incidentally was not his name at birth; it was given to him by his step father when Barack was adopted by him. At no time during his Presidential campaign was he called Barack 'H' Obama. So why now?

Here is a bit of numerology to consider...

Barack adds up to number 9, which is the humanitarian, giving number that can involve so many people into things that help others. Barack demonstrated in his biography as an organiser how much he gravitated towards helping other people. The surname Obama is a number 5, which has an energy of change; This is crude numerology for the sake of brevity and I feel sure that other numerologists can expand much more on the significance of the 14.

Finally add the 9 of Barack to the 5 of Obama. The result is 9+5=14/5. In short we go back to the 5 that 9 was added to. Number 5 is not a bad political number. It is not bad for the idea of change, however, it is not very good for seeing change carried through. With a number 5 name, Barack Obama would have neither the teeth nor the patience to push through the reforms he wants to see happen. Number 5 is great at starting things but hopeless at finishing them. The 9 doesn't help here because it only adds energy to the number it is added to, which in this case is the mercurial 5.

In short, if Barack Obama went to the Presidency with this set of numbers, I feel sure he would have made a good President but not necessarily a great one.

Enter the knowledge of a numerologist.

The letter 'H' = the number 8.

Hussein is 8+3+1+1+5+9+5 = 35 = 5. Adding the number 5 to Baracks 14/5 would have given him 19/1. This is a great number for emphasising self achievement but not for encouraging shared visions and mutual goal setting.

Add the number 8 to Barack's 14/5 and you get number 22/4. This is the number of the Master Builder. It carries with it great power and great responsibility. It has teeth, passion and the persistence to see through anything to the bitter end no matter how difficult or unpalatable. It contains vision and ideas and innovative thinking, which is everything the people are expecting him to deliver.

A word of warning here though. As one who shares the 22/4 energy, it is often the case that people expect more than can be delivered. The potential is there but please remember that President Obama is going to have to fight uphill for eight whole years (yes I have no doubt he will go to a second term). Yes he will do fantasic things. He will break through some of the old die-hard don't-work methods but not without struggle and not by being popular or trying to make friends.

22/4 is both Uranian and Plutonian, both are energies that America is fueled by and what it needs right now. President Barack H Obama is the right man for the job and the world must give him as much support as we can. Don't expect overnight changes but also don't expect that the world will look anything like it does today in eight year's time.
