Sorry bunch... addendum

Go-Go reminded me of the flip side today.
When I picked Go-Go up from school today, she was excited. They rearranged their desks, today, and THEY got to pick who to sit next to. Now, Go-Go is sitting next to her bestest friend (no sorry bunch here), and as we were walking home she asked me if I had a best friend in school.
:) I still talk to my grammar school bestest friend. She still lives in Buffalo, so I don't see her very often. The last time I was there for a visit, we did get together for dinner, just the 2 of us. On the way home from school, today, Go-Go reminded me there are people out there who definitely don't fall into the sorry bunch of no good friends category. It's fun to watch Go-Go develop such a close friendship. I only hope hers lasts as long as mine.
And if my bestest friend reads this, thanks for being you and always encouraging me to be the best I can be. I'm so glad we're friends, and I'm happy I could tell my daughter what it's like to have a BFF.
This friend still has the poem I wrote her for her 8th grade graduation, AND she will BURN said poem before she dies. Everyone should be so lucky to remember such GOOD friends.
