I'm Melting!

I’m starting to feel some sympathy for that poor misguided, melting woman (which witch was it?). After suffering through one more night of melt-down hot flashes, I raced, eagerly, for the bathroom scales, figuring that I must be down a good, heavy, two litres?
Not so – just how can that be scientifically possible? Shouldn’t all of that exercise (blanket on – blanket off) count for something? – not to mention my donation to the atmosphere, of all of that valuable water; And, to top it all off - the sky is now sweating! Which confirms my belief that Nature really has earned her ‘Mother’ title - Her pores are totally emptying right now, and the cloud cover has been smothering her for a good four hours already! Throw it off, girl! I can sympathize with the frustrated sweat and tears being shed, though; Not only do we keep turning up the thermostat in her house, but the stress of all of the family feuding, in every corner, is really notching up her temperature!
I vote we start turning down the heat, or better yet – sharing it; There are a lot of people out there – mothers included – experiencing a cold world, in many ways. Why don’t we invest in that totally sustainable and unlimited fuel source – the warmth that resides in each one of us, that flows easily as soon as we turn on the taps of tolerance and respect. The next time I feel like I might be ‘melting’, I’ll try to console myself with the thought that maybe my fuel gauge is not really out of whack – its just that the source is overflowing! Time to share! “He aint heavy – he’s my brother”
