That's What I Think 1/23/2012 11:36:14 AM Good morning to all of you out there.
I'm not feeling great. Some of you will enjoy hearing this. But for the most of you that read this blog for the right reasons you will be able to identify with what it is I feel.
I am experiencing a depression and a heightened anxiety level. I don't know all the parameters of what is causing this to happen except to know that I do not feel secure. I won't go into those details about what is making me insecure for those are private and not for ears that listen without invitation. But I am sad.
I have spoken about this to my partner and we have indentified what the cause might be. It will be a lengthy fix and one that will take both of our energy.
Even though I have discovered the reason, it doesn't always waylay the negative energy or the negative thoughts and thus the negative anxiety. I am trying to put into my mind the coping skills given to me by my therapist. I am also sharing my anxiety with those that know how to comfort and with those I trust for that kind of help.
I am scared of the feelings. I am mad that they are here. But I must accept that they are and not get down on myself for having the feelings. I know they are there to help me. I know they are there for a reason.
So it is up to me to say "thank you" for the message and then to figure out how to get back into balance.
I am experiencing bad dreams, a bit of panic, breathing issues, and a knot in my stomach. I have been unable to eat much. So...I know things are not right.
The first thing I did was to talk about my angst with my partner. He was sad as I was to hear my thoughts and my possible reasons for these symptoms. We spent a good amount of time holding each other, talking, and loving. It was good to do this and to remind each other of our connection and why we have made our commitment to each other.
We plan to stay on top of the upfront issues and to work together.
For now that is all I can do. More later.
